Any member of the party may apply to become a candidate.

Any member wishing to be considered to become a candidate for the Heywood & Middleton or Rochdale constituencies should complete and submit a Council Candidate Application Form.

CLICK HERE TO REQUEST A COUNCIL CANDIDATE APPLICATION FORM.

Following submission of your application form, you may be invited to take part in a formal interview process.  The approval process exists to ensure the quality of each prospective candidate and their suitability to be a Conservative Council Candidate.  Not every applicant is successful on their first attempt, however, every applicant will receive feedback and may be advised of training and areas of development to be considered before a further application is submitted.

Candidates must be a current member of the party.
